Benefits of ParsForCharity™ for...

Not-for-Profit Organizations!

  • Encourage organizations and golfers to pledge a few cents for each par or better point scored by potential donors, regardless of where, when or with whom they played, for your charity

  • Generate new annuity revenue streams that are directed at specific community awareness initiatives.

  • Increase media coverage and public awareness of your important social awareness initiatives

  • Enhance your internet exposure by displaying an up-to-date funds-pledged thermometer as well as individual and team rankings directly on your web-site

How does it work for Charities?

  • Create a ParsForCharity Golf-a-thon for your charity

  • Identify specific community awareness projects where charitable funds are needed

  • Plan for and identify the number of the top ranked players from a number of top ranked teams/organizations who will qualify to compete in a final championship for your current year’s golf challenge cup

  • Challenge your corporate clients to create their own internal golf-a-thons and designate your charity as the benefactor. They also enter their organizations in your ParsForCharityTM Golf-a-thon.

  • Provide individual and team trophies and prizes for your current year's final championship

  • Individuals are ranked against each other by age, gender and Golf Ability Ranges (GARs) using their best 4 points scores. Age Groups are Under 19, 19-50, 51-60, Over 60 and GARs are Golf Pros, Low 70's, High 70's, Low 80's, High 80's, 90's, Over100

  • Teams are ranked against each other based on funds raised as well as the total quota points earned for a specified number of top ranked players from each team

  • At the end of the golf-a-thon, each player will write a check for his/her total pledge directly to your charity (Approx. $50/player) They will expect a receipt for their tax purposes.

  • Each individual points-earned total is associated with a specific zipcode which allows the charity to apply all funds being raised to their different regions, chaptors or tents

  • Use GolfChamp's web services to describe the deetails and post results on your website
