How Do I Get My Personal Results?

After you have signed up and paid your entry fee you will be assigned your own golfname (user id) and password (you may change your password at any time). Your golfname is intended to be yours for life. It is your last name and the first letter of your first name (e.g. Samuel Brown = browns). If there are more than one player with the same first and last name a number 0-999 is added to your golfname to make it unique. Then follow the steps below:

  • Go to www.ParsForCharity.org
  • Click on "YourPage, Members or Members Login"
  • Enter Your Golfname and Password
  • You will then be shown Your summary Results and a personalized menu

 

How Do I Join/Sign-up for a Golf-A-Thon if I have never participated before?

Please make sure you only use this option if you have never participated in a GolfChamp or ParsForCharity event in the past. If you sign up as a new member you will lose all previous score results from past events you were a participant in.

  • Go to www.ParsForCharity.org
  • Click on "Join" from menu or "Logon or Sign Up" with Picture of Golf ball on a Tee
    • OR - Click on the "Golf-a-thons" link
    • Then select the Golf-A-Thon you want to join
    • Then click the "Join" Link
  • (If you are already a GolfChamp member see below)
  • Complete Information in Sign Up Form and Click "Click Here to Join"
  • Select Golf-a-thon(s) you would like to join and complete payment pages if applicable.
  • When you reach the "Thank You" page your initial registration is complete and you will receive one email to confirm payment through paypal and another email with your golfname and password.

How Do I Sign-up for a Golf-A-Thon if I am already a member or have participated in the past?

  • Go to www.ParsForCharity.org
  • Click on "YourPage" and enter your golfname and password (if not signed in already)
  • Click on "Golf-a-thons"
  • Select and click on the Golf-A-Thon you want to join
  • Click the "Join" Link
  • Complete Payment pages (through the Secure PayPal Shopping Cart)
  • You will end at the "Thank You" page and will be sent an email from Paypal verifying your entry fee payment

How Do I Add my Scores?

You can add your own scores as well the scores of any other player on your team. Scores from GolfChamp sanctioned events that you play will be automatically entered for you. To enter your own scores:

  • Go to www.ParsForCharity.org
  • Click on "Add Scores" and login using your golfname and password 
  • You will be taken to an "Add Scores" page pointing to your "HomeCourse".

How Do I analyze my own scores?

Golfchamp has added a "post-analysis" feature that you can use to store and review  average putts, results of tee and approach shots along your club selections - The concept being - that even if you only remembers 1 of every 25 - it will accumulate to help with your course management. Before re-playing a course, you could use your previous rounds to help with course management:

  • Go to www.ParsForCharity.org
  • Click on "Add Scores" and enter your golfname and password
  • The last 20 scores entered for you will be listed at the bottom of the page
  • Click on "PlayerName"  to see details of the round
  • Click on "Post-Analysis" to update details about that round (e.g., putts)
